Where did you find the Brievenbus/mailbox? It looks old, I can’t remember this one in Holland, it might be Belgian?
You can find “Brievenbus” mailboxes in old post offices of Indonesia. They had made by Dutch 🙂
Yep, I realized that later, part of my countries colonial history. I did not recognize the model. Are they still in use?
Most of them are not used anymore. We keep them to remember the parts of our history.
That golden lion intrigues me. Where is it placed?
There are four golden lion statues. You can find the them in Mangkunegaran Palace, Surakarta ( Solo city ). 🙂
